The Falcon Players are getting ready to thrill audiences at Stanford Hall Theatre from Wednesday 9th to Saturday 12th October 2002 with the fabulous farcical comedy “Holiday Snap” written by John Chapman and Michael Pertwee.
A Portuguese time-share villa has been double-booked, unknown to the company representative, the myopic tippler Commander “Chitto” Chittenden. When Mary and Henry arrive shortly after Eve and Leslie, Chitto manages to remain unaware that there is more than one couple on the scene. The confusion is compounded when each couple mistakes the other for the servants.
Henry seems to have the upper hand s he discovers that Eve is married, but not to Leslie, when his mother-in-law arrives and he has to bribe the other couple to impersonate his alibi, Sir Piers and Lady Marchbanks. It looks as though things might work out until the real Sir Piers arrives followed by Henry’s wife . . . . . . . . . .
The show will feature a strong cast including Stuart Bailey as the tipsy and confused Share-a Lux representative Commander “Chitto” Chittenden. The cast also stars Peter Legg, Yvonne Marshall, Steve Shipton, Liz Cox, Brian Binns, Laraine Gibson and Falcon Players debutant Roxie Cross.
Tickets for the show are available from the Falcon Players Box Office located at The Town Hall, Market Place, Loughborough. Telephone Bookings can also be made by calling 01509 231914. The Box Office is open Monday to Saturday from 10.00am to 6.00pm and accepts major credit/debit cards.
